CIFF Paris launches this June with a curated showroom concept
April 14, 2026
CIFF is establishing a dedicated presence in Paris for the first time, bringing together 15-20 carefully selected international brands in an elevated showroom setting, housed in a prime three-storey location in Le Marais. The initiative marks a natural evolution of CIFF’s strategy, deepening its commitment to being a year-round ally and platform for its community, and supporting brands in navigating an increasingly complex and competitive market.
“Now more than ever, brands are expected to be present across multiple markets and moments. With CIFF Paris, we are creating a format that allows for greater continuity and closer collaboration with our community. It’s about meeting brands where they are and truly listening to their needs - looking beyond a single season with us in Copenhagen, and instead focusing on how we build a platform that supports brands across markets, while allowing new formats to take shape as the landscape continues to evolve,” says Sofie Dolva, Director of CIFF.
She continues: “Having a presence during Paris Fashion Week has always been a core focus for the majority of both Nordic and international brands. At the same time, operating independently in the city - whether as an established or emerging brand - often presents significant challenges. Standing out, attracting the attention of buyers, and ultimately driving footfall to a single-brand showroom during such a competitive period requires both scale and collective pull.”
Building on previous international activations, including multiple seasons at Pitti Uomo in Florence under the Scandinavian Manifesto, the CIFF & CFDA showroom during New York Fashion Week last year, and the upcoming June edition of 10 Corso Como x CIFF in Milan, CIFF Paris represents the next step in CIFF’s growing global presence.
“Fourteen years in, our Danish roots still shape how we think about products - across everything from outerwear to our newer categories, ready-to-wear and footwear. Being part of CIFF's Nordic showcase in Paris not only allows us to add a new dimension to our already strong foundation in the city, it’s an opportunity to represent our evolution and get Nordic design in front of buyers who might not have encountered it yet,” says Tom Bettinson, Chief Sales Officer at Rains.
“We are pleased to be part of CIFF Paris this June. For OpéraSPORT, Paris remains an important platform, and entering this setting together with CIFF feels both relevant and well timed. We look forward to the conversations, the energy of fashion week, and to meeting buyers and partners in a context that supports the next phase of our growth,” says Jens Wiinblad, Operations & Commercial Director.
“Our collaboration with CIFF has always been built on a shared understanding of what the industry actually needs today - not just a platform, but a partner. Over the years, CIFF has created an environment where it’s not only about showing product, but about building relationships, connecting with the right people, and creating meaningful moments around the brand. That has been valuable for us. What makes CIFF Paris a natural next step is that it extends that same mindset into an international context. The idea of a more curated showroom, with a focused group of brands and a strong emphasis on quality interactions, aligns closely with how we want to grow. It’s not about being everywhere - it’s about being in the right places, with the right people. Paris is an important market, and having a presence there in a format that prioritizes connection, storytelling, and community makes sense for us. Especially with the way CIFF is approaching it - combining showroom, hospitality, and content - it feels less transactional and more relational, which is where we see the value today. So for us, joining CIFF Paris is not just about expansion - it’s about continuing a collaboration that already works, in a new setting that reflects how the industry is evolving.” says Chung Wai Cheung, Founder of Woodbird
As part of the showroom, CIFF will lead a targeted invitation strategy, bringing together key buyers across relevant markets - identified in close dialogue with participating brands and aligned with their needs and priorities - alongside a curated mix of international and local press. Local partners will support on-the-ground activation, ensuring consistent traffic and high-quality attendance throughout the duration of the showroom.
The programme will be brought to life through a series of curated moments, including Nordic breakfasts, afternoon aperitivo gatherings in collaboration with Copenhagen-based Art of the Refill, among others, special CIFF Media ‘On Location’ podcast editions developed together with Fashion Forum and more. To celebrate the first edition of CIFF Paris, CIFF will host a dinner at a prime Paris location, bringing together participating brands and close friends of the industry - envisioned as a high-impact networking opportunity.
